2. In order to avoid damaging the mold, it is stipulated that when aligning the reference point, upper and lower molds with a length of more than 300mm must be used. After aligning the reference point, molds with the same height can be used. It is strictly prohibited to use small divided molds for alignment, and the alignment must be based on the reference point pressure inside the machine.
3. When using molds, due to the different heights of various molds, only molds of the same height can be used on one machine, and molds of different heights cannot be used.
4. When using molds, suitable upper and lower molds should be selected according to the material hardness, thickness, and length of the metal sheet. Generally, the lower mold is used according to the standard of 5~6T, and the length should be slightly longer than the sheet. For harder materials and thicker sheets, a lower mold with a wider groove should be used.
5. When bending sharp angles or dead ends, a 30-degree upper mold should be used to bend the sharp angle first and then press the dead edge. When bending R angles, R upper and R lower dies should be used.
6. When bending longer workpieces, it is best not to use segmented molds to reduce blade pressure marks. It is also best to use single-slot molds because the outer corner R of the V-groove of the single-slot lower mold is larger, which is not easy to produce bending pressure marks.
7. When choosing an upper mold, we should understand the parameters of all molds, and then decide what upper mold to use based on the shape of the product to be formed.
8. When bending products with special hardness or thick plate thickness, it is not allowed to bend steel bars or other cylindrical products with molds.
9. When using molds, keep a clear mind. After the machine aligns the reference point, lock the upper and lower molds to prevent the molds from falling down and causing injury or damage. During the operation, pay attention to the pressure and do not apply too much pressure at once. Pay attention to the changes in the displayed data on the screen.
10. After using the molds, they should be promptly put back on the mold rack and placed according to the markings. Regularly clean the dust on the molds and apply anti-rust oil to prevent rust and reduce mold accuracy.
