How to lubricate a CNC press brake machine?

Open the oil tank cover of the press brake machine, clean the debris inside the tank, and wash it thoroughly. Check if the oil filter is intact. Slowly pour oil into the tank until it reaches the specified level, then close the oil tank cover.

CNC Press Brake Machine

Features of CNC Press Brake Machine:

1. Direct angle programming with angle compensation function.

2. Real-time detection and feedback correction using a grating ruler, closed-loop control, and precise positioning accuracy of the backgauge and slide stop at ±0.02mm.

3. Rapid clamping device for the upper die and wedge deformation compensation mechanism for the lower die.

4. Multiple-step programming function to achieve multiple automatic runs, completing the machining of multi-step parts in one operation, improving production efficiency.

5. Optional stable and compact imported hydraulic system and ball screw or synchronous belt drive for the backgauge.

Operating Procedures:

1. Strictly follow the safety operating procedures of the machine tool and wear appropriate personal protective equipment as required.

2. Before starting, carefully inspect the motor, switches, wiring, and grounding for normal operation and firmness. Check that all control components and buttons are in the correct positions.

3. Check the alignment and stability of the upper and lower dies. Verify if the positioning devices meet the processing requirements.

Machine Tool:

4. When the upper slide and positioning axes are not in the home position, run the home position program.

5. After starting the equipment, let it run idle for 1-2 minutes. Move the upper slide to full stroke 2-3 times. If any abnormal noise or malfunction is detected, stop the machine immediately, troubleshoot the issue, and resume work only when everything is normal.

6. During operation, one person should be in charge to ensure close coordination between the operator and the material feeding and pressing personnel, ensuring that all personnel are in safe positions to issue bending signals.

7. The material must be properly clamped during bending to prevent it from lifting and causing injury.

8. When adjusting the pressure die for the material, the power supply must be cut off, and adjustment should be done only after the machine stops running.

9. When changing the opening of the variable lower die, no contact with the die is allowed.

10. No one is allowed to stand at the rear of the machine tool during operation.

11. It is strictly prohibited to bend the material at one end only.

12. If any irregularities are noticed during operation, the machine should be stopped for correction. It is strictly forbidden to manually correct while the machine is running to avoid hand injuries.

13. It is prohibited to bend excessively thick iron plates, quenched steel plates, high-grade alloy steel, square steel, or materials that exceed the performance limits of the press brake machine to avoid damaging the machine tool.

14. Regularly check the alignment of the upper and lower dies and the indication of the pressure gauge to ensure compliance with specifications.

15. In case of any abnormalities, stop the machine immediately, investigate the cause, and promptly resolve the issue.

16. Before shutting down, place wooden blocks on the lower die below the cylinders on both sides to lower the upper slide onto the blocks.

17. Exit the control system program first, then cut off the power supply.
