If there is a single-bend workpiece as shown in the diagram, the following steps should be followed for manual processing:
The workpiece has a thickness of 2mm and a flange height of 20mm on one end. Additionally, let's assume the material of the sheet is Q235-A, and the overall processing width is 2000mm.
Based on this information, please select appropriate upper and lower dies and enter the corresponding parameters into the numerical control (NC) system.
All these parameters can be independently programmed.
Upper Die (UP): Select the corresponding upper die from the memory by entering the die's number. (In this example, the input is "5").
Lower Die (UN): Select the corresponding lower die from the memory by entering the die's number. (In this example, the input is "5").
Material (MA): Choose the type of sheet material for processing. (In this example, the input is "1").
1: Steel
4: Stainless Steel
2: Aluminum
5: Define based on tensile strength and E-modulus in programming constants.
Thickness (TH): Enter the thickness of the sheet material for processing. (In this example, the input is "2").
Length (BL): Enter the width of the sheet material for processing. (In this example, the input is "2000").
Bending Method (BM): Select the bending method. (In this example, the input is "0").
0: Free bending
10: Bottom bending
1: Bottom bending with flattening
11: Bottom bending with flattening and bottom bending
Correction (Ca): Correct the bending angle.
If the programmed angle is 90 degrees and the actual processed angle is 91 degrees, the correction is -1 degree.
If the programmed angle is 90 degrees and the actual processed angle is 89 degrees, the correction is +1 degree.
Angle (a): Enter the desired bending angle. (In this example, the input is "90").
Y-Axis (Y): Enter the programmed or calculated Y-axis value. (The NC system automatically calculates the bending depth based on machine parameters, die parameters, and sheet thickness. Press the Enter key to confirm the value calculated by the NC system. If a correction angle (Ca) is entered, press the Enter key to reconfirm the Y-axis value).
Mute Point (MuteM): Enter the position of the speed transition point. (The NC system automatically calculates the speed transition point of the slider based on machine parameters, die parameters, and sheet thickness. Press the Enter key to confirm the value calculated by the NC system).
Pressure (P): Enter the bending tonnage output by the hydraulic system during bending. (The NC system automatically calculates it based on sheet thickness, tensile strength, lower die opening, and bending width parameters. It can also be manually modified).
X-Axis (X): Enter the programmed position of the back gauge. (In this example, enter "18.1" because the bending height in the diagram includes the sheet thickness. The NC system automatically calculates the X-axis positioning in the automatic program).
R-Axis (R): If the machine is equipped with additional axes such as X2, R, DF, etc., enter the programming value according to user needs. (This value is manually entered).
Opening (Dy): Enter the opening height of the slider, starting from the height of the speed transition point, and calculate the height of the slider's return stroke.
Speed (S): Enter the bending speed (the speed at which the slider descends, manually entered).
Decompression Speed (BS): Enter the speed at which the hydraulic system releases pressure during decompression (corresponding to the decompression distance, manually entered, generally lower than the bending speed).
Delay Time (T): Set the holding time at the final bending position (can be modified from 0.1 to 9.9 seconds).
Parallel (Y2): Set the deviation value for the left and right cylinders. When it is a positive value, Y2 is lowered slightly further, and when it is a negative value, Y2 is lowered slightly less. This setting is used for free bending mode.
